Día de los Libros Celebration & Resources:

Story Time with California’s First Partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom

Just because we’re doing the good work of social distancing to safeguard our loved ones and community from COVID-19, doesn’t mean we can’t come together (virtually)!

We are excited to hold a very special Día de los Libros event with California’s First Partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom on April 30 at 10 am! The First Partner will host a live reading on Facebook Live!

Recording of the event available here: https://bit.ly/3d1uxr5

First Partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom will lead a reading in English and Spanish of “We Count”, a book that teaches young children the importance of getting counted in the 2020 Census.

Download or request a We Count Book here. The book is available in 14 languages.
